2nd weather outlook

We are getting closer and closer to the start of the Jabuka 2017 which is not really true for the definitive weather forecast for the race. This one is jumping back and forward, left and right with every model run.

The main reason for that is the absence of stronger pressure gradients at the surface so we can say it is not going to be a high wind race. This is in a way a relief since we might see the famous rock of Jabuka again. Is it going to be slow? Not necessarily, there still might be some of the Jugo (SE) around at the start especially further out on the open sea. There are quite a few convective systems around, and each will bring its own wind system.  The Saturday is still almost entirely open with a modest chance of NW-ies coming through.

See you in Tribunj,

cheers, Jure
